Traveling and knitting

Traveling with your knitting/crocheting products can be overwhelming especially when you are flying. You simply don’t know whether or not TSA will snatch all your knitting needles. Either way is PREPARED!!!

It is better to do some research to find out what you can and cannot carry especially if you are flying, always bring extra needles and yarn, and always have a plastic needle or something that you put a cover on the tip of the needles.

On this trip (domestic flight USA) I was able to carry a circular knitting needle shown in the picture above. Straight needles aren’t allowed when flying and it is best to place your knit/crochet needles in your carry on or checked bag.

This was an amazing experience I’ve never travel with my knit or crochet items before (I’m mostly driving to places) this experience is eye-opening.

Until next time. What are some handmade items or projects you are working on that’s safe to fly with?
